Nursery

Cares for children up to 6 years old during the 11:00 AM worship service in the Church's nursery area. Bible-based tapes, books and other materials are provided. Volunteers receive a tape of that Sunday's service.

Children's Ministry In Motion (MIM)

A ministry which models and leads the congregation in praise and worship through liturgical dancing. No prior dance experience is required, only a willing spirit to praise God through dance.

Dedicated Against the Destruction of our Sons (D.A.D.S.)

Our male mentorship program allows the men of the church to serves as a beacon to provide spiritual guidance and leisure activities to the boys in the congregation and community.

Young People's And Children Division (YPD)

The YPD'ers of Saint Andrew meet monthly to study the AME Church and the WMS-YPD Constitution. The youth of Saint Andrew are very active in our community. Some of their special projects are Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless; Christmas caroling at nursing homes; volunteering in Foodworks and Wearworks. All youth and young adults aged 2 through 26 may become members of the YPD.

Men Of God

Teenage and college age young men, who perform intricate, contemporary "stepping" (as done in Greek fraternities) with faith-based themes and music.

Sports Ministry

Participates in a Church basketball League for boys and girls ages 7 through 18. Also offers an opportunity for your youth to learn to plan soccer.

Sisters Taking A Righteous Stand (S.T.A.R.S.)

An abstinence-based program for adolescent and teen girls in the church and community. Monthly meetings include lively discussions based on contemporary topics, activities or sleepovers. Also sponsors several "Teen Summits" throughout the year for all youth of the church.

Scholarships

The Scholarship Committee awards a ton of love and a bible to our high school and college graduates. Scholarships are also awarded to selected graduates of several local high schools in honor of Saint Andrew alumni.

Spiritmen
The Spiritmen strive to integrate brothers into the life and ministry of Saint Andrew, as they focus on male-to-male spiritual growth, fellowship and witness; assume the roles of male mentors to young brothers, and work diligently with other organizations' projects to assure their success.

The Force
As a supplement to the deterrent provided by our contracted guard service, this volunteer congregational security ministry is dedicated to maintaining a safe place for our members to worship; through the uniformed presence and visibility of these members of The Saint.

Sisters
The women's ministry of Saint Andrew focuses on the God-given gifts of women, and how they can be used to edify the Lord in the home, in the church, and in the community. Sisters meets monthly to discuss ways of applying God's Word to everyday situations. Sisters is a "safe-haven" for women to discuss what is happening, what has happened and what may happen in their lives. They sponsor an annual retreat for women, to gather together for a spiritual explosion.

The Good Life Fellowship
Our seniors' fellowship provides an opportunity for the more "seasoned" members of the church to get together for bus outings, meals and lively topical conversations.
